Care Provider: Deactivate Customer Profile
As a Provider Administrator or Site Coordinator, you can deactivate Customer profiles on CareApp.
Some things to know about deactivating Customer profiles:
- Once a Customer's profile is deactivated it becomes 'Inactive' and is still able to be found in the Customer tab when the 'Enabled only' switch is turned off.
- A Customer profile can be re-activated at any time.
- If a Customer's profile is deactivated, the family that is connected to this account will not be able to access their account.
Follow the instructions below to deactivate a customer profile:
Web
Log into your CareApp account on CareApp web at careapp.com.au
Go to the 'Customer' tab in the left side menu on CareApp web at careapp.com.au
Choose the customer you wish to deactivate from the customer list.
Click on 'Edit' at the top right of the screen.
Go to the 'Settings' tab.
Click on the switch next to 'Customer Active'. Grey means non-active and teal means the account is active.
Click 'Save'.
Once the Customer profile is deactivated you can reactivate it at any time. To reactivate a Customer profile see the Re-activate a customer's profile guide.
